Recharging your batteries is super important, and not just when you're in school. You can't go full tilt all the time. Work hard when you have to, but make sure you take care of yourself when you have down time so you stay healthy.

Hello, I found you blog when researching the realistic aspects of working full time and going to school full time. I have to say I really think you offer great advice, with a realistic approach. I'm soon to enter my first year of college, jobless (but trying) and was looking for good quality advice. Thanks, a must read for sure.

When I was in school I worked full time to pay off school before I graduated.

I usually worked ahead by 2-3 weeks on my assignments.

At any given time I could just not do any school work for a week and I would still be ahead.

It was a great system for me but it did take a lot out of me the first two weeks or so as I built my buffer.
