Great Reads

I don’t want to be one of those Personal Finance Bloggers that has a blogroll of 6271 different blogs because really, who reads that many blogs? Emailing me and asking to be on my blogroll will not cut it either, I will only link to blogs that I read and honestly enjoy reading. I feel that the readers that come to this blog expect quality, which is why I will not exchange links just for the sake of exchanging links. If you are a new PF Blogger than by all means feel free to contact me to let me know about your blog and I will start reading it to see what I think. Beside each blog I list the reason as to why I read the blog:

Dough Roller This blog shows so many clever ways to make money that you could spend hours reading it without moving away from the computer. Plus there are many solid tips available for new bloggers that want to learn about blogging and monetization

Gather Little By Little The articles are very well thought out and easy to relate to by anyone.I find that the blog contains a very positive tone which is needed during such rough economic times.

Good Financial Cents a financial planning and investment blog by a true professional in the industry. Jeff Rose works as a Certified Financial Planner and luckily for us he has created a blog that helps us make “cents” of our finances.

Get Rich Slowly I’m sure this needs no explanaition at all. JD is one of the most respected PF bloggers out there and his work is inspirational & educational. This blog is probably the industry standard, the blog that can give you credibility, and the blog that everyone wants to be mentioned on.

Lazy Man and Money I feel like I can relate to the content completely even though it is not aimed at students. Don’t let the name fool you, he may consider himself lazy but his quality articles look like they definitely take some time to write.

Prime Time Money I find that all of the articles provide very practical advice that can be applied by anyone. Every time I read an article on something new I come out feeling that I could apply the advice given in the article.

Smart Passive Income This blog is fairly new just like mine and I have been following it since the beginning. I felt bad for Pat when I found out he lost his job but then when he started posting about how much he earns online it’s pretty hard to feel bad for him. I am yet to follow in his footsteps and write my own ebook, one day hopefully.

The Smarter Wallet The tips on this blog make perfect sense and I find them easily applicable to my own life. The genius behind this blog is also responsible for another great personal finance blog known as The Digerati Life which is also worth checking out.
