Book Reviews Coming Soon Links Edition

by MD on October 13, 2009

I am just about to finish off reading the book Never Eat Alone. I had many people recommend it to me and I finally decided to buy it off Amazon. The book has been an inspirational read and I will definitely have a review up soon. Not only will I review the book but I will slowly introduce concepts from the book into my posts (giving credit of course). I figure that from now on my “Studenomics homework” will be to research as much as possible by reading many books that provide different perspectives on financial stuff.

Also despite being tight on time I plan on reading more books in the coming months. I will finally get around to reading the 4 Hour Work Week, I Will Teach You To Be Rich, and Career Renegade. Please share any other books you would like me to review or just read!

Frugal Dad presents the entrepreneur fund. Frugal Dad really dislikes risk and he has outlined a detailed plan for his entrepreneurship dream. A solid idea that all future entrepreneurs need to check out before jumping into anything.

Get Rich Slowly shares with us the best books for boosting your income. I plan on reading many of the books in the coming months.

College Candy talks about professors that put the F in professor. A classic list of profs to watch out for. All I will add is that I ALWAYS check out “rate my professor”  and contact older students from my program before I enroll in a course.

Canadian Finance Blog looks at the cost of raising a child. An interesting read for any of you college graduates that want to have a kid in the coming years.

Four Pillars tells us why Google Street View is great from home buyers. I must admit I have used this tool mostly for fun but I’m positive it will give you an idea of your potential new area.

Thanks For Getting This Far
