I finally published a piece outlining some requirements for a guest post. I’ve since already received entertaining emails. I’ve mentioned that I wanted pieces from my readers. I didn’t realize that my readers ran credit card review sites.
I will however make exceptions in some cases. If I receive a high-quality 1,000 word post with a link from someone I don’t really know, I’ll consider posting it because there’s effort at least.
I love to write guest posts and I love to publish them. In fact, I received a really cool guest post this weekend. I still have hope that quality guest posts are still alive.
One final note: at the end of the day it’s my blog. I can wake up tomorrow and decide that I don’t like your post any more. I could also decide to delay the time of post. Don’t yell at me or give me shit.
Before we get into the links I wanted to send out a special shout out to Mike from The Financial Blogger. The blog is celebrating its 4th Anniversary today! Be sure to check it out and find out how you can win an iPad.
