Studs of the Week

by MD on March 29, 2009

I want to thank everyone for making the last two theme weeks a success! In fact entrepreneurship week was so successful that I received an excellent guest post on the topic that will go live tomorrow. The semester is finally coming to an end and I will soon be able to dedicate more time to Studenomics.

Four Pillars talks about public speaking. Each semester I have anywhere from 2-5 presentations so I’m always looking for quality articles on the topic. I like how the article lets us know that everyone has the same fear when it comes to public speaking.

Green Panda Treehouse on saving money on your groceries. I know it’s not a glamorous idea to be eating leftovers but it can do wonders for your budget.

Good Financial Cents asks if the markets are beginning to thaw? An interesting point made by Jeff is that there are signs showing that investors are slowly regaining confidence.

The Digerati Life talks about Investment advice from a financial guru. I’m more on the side of listening to a financial guru but then conducting my own research prior to making any financial decisions. I’m curious as to where others stand?

Thanks For Getting This Far

Dale Carnegie, the guy who writes “How to Win Friends and Influence People,” has a book about public speaking. It’s extremely helpful!
