i left at 6:15 last week. 15 mins made a HUGE difference in morning traffic. i was floored!! i'm used to seeing car on the way but only a few here and there. by the time i was almost to school, there was bumper to bumper traffic!! i'd rather get to school an hr before my class and sit around facebooking, *ahem* i mean studying, than trying to navigate through crazy people trying to drive with the crusties still in their eyes.

I realize this post is almost a year old, but I would love to see a similar post that consisted of a "checklist" of what you should have done at various stages in your college financial career. Also, I realize that graduating debt free would be best, but for some of us that is not really an option, do you have any recommendations as to student loans?

I couldn't agree more about the pre-game advise. Only thing I would add is to be honest about you financial situation with your mates so you are all on the same page when you go out to club.

Avoid people who think they are high class and only want to go to fancy clubs or drink premium alcohol.

A friend dated a girl like this in college and it broke him financially. Better to be honest about who you are and manage other peoples expectations instead of destroying your financial backbone and picking up expensive habits...
