Wow, sweet story (and definitely not a waste of time). While we hear so much about the pain, misery and troubles of the world (doubly so when we are looking in the realm of finance…), we so rarely get to hear the good. Thanks for making my day, my friend; this was nice to hear.

@archie I’m so ashamed to say this but I froze when I got the wallet. All I could do was thank the guy and I had a million thoughts running through my mind. I told him to wait but he said he had to run. I was going to go downstairs and get him the biggest bottle of Vodka I could find. I have never had a nice thing than that happen to me and just looking over the post makes me smile.

Nothing “time-wasting” about this. Time-wasting are the in-your-pocket examples you’ve mentioned. It’s good to know people like this exist.
