I want to take this opportunity to wish all of my great readers a MERRY CHRISTMAS! For those of you that do not celebrate Christmas than I wish you a Happy Holidays and hope that you enjoy this day off. Regardless of your faith and what you believe in I have compiled a small list of things that everyone should do today.
Do NOT think about money. I know there is a good chance a lot of money was spent on the many gifts that you are exchanging today. I am not saying it is good or bad, but just do not think about the price of these items. Instead focus more on the reactions of the people that receive these well thought out gifts from you. Also do not do any online banking and do think about money in general. Christmas has been overridden with consumerism and spending money, so just try your best to not think about money at all.
Enjoy the company of those around you. This means you should turn off your Blackberry, iphone or whatever cellular device you have and focus on having a good time. Just relax and take it easy for the day. Do not think about work, sports or anything, just focus your efforts on spending quality time with those around you.
Reflect. Think about what you have improved from last year’s Christmas and what you could improve for next year. There is always room for improvement so do not feel bad if you feel there are certain areas you could work on improving.
That is all for today and no matter how busy Christmas is every year the real craziness happens on Boxing Day for me because that happens to be my birthday. Despite it being my birthday I will put up a small post tomorrow before all the guests arrive at my house looking for a party.
