Alright so now how can you win the laptops at Studenomics? Simple.
Don’t worry I won’t force you to follow me on Twitter or to subscribe to my feed. I want this to be simple so that everyone has a chance of winning. Plus I hate complicated contests myself.
Lately my little brother has been pushing for us to buy a pet dog for him. I have never had a pet in my life. Lately I have been into the idea of having a pet around the house.
For the contest I’m going to ask you guys to take a picture of your pet and send it to ilovestudenomics at studenomics.com (yes I created that email just for this contest)

It’s really that simple. The contest opens up right now and the deadline is 9pm on August 31st. Yes it is pretty subjective. I don’t have any real criteria yet but the winner will be posted on the morning of September 1st. Did I mention that anyone can enter?

If I have a pet begonia, does that count? Since we’re still doing the grad school thing, we’re in an apartment that doesn’t allow any animals, so I’ve started small with an angel wing begonia named Pixel.

With a prize this cool, wouldn’t a random number generator be the best method? I like the take on the “better together” theme, but seems rough to determine the winner based on the aesthetic qualities of one’s pet.

Alright for those of you complaining about not having a pet: do I have to spell it out for you? If you really want to win two free laptops why don’t you take a picture of your neighbor’s pet? Take a picture of a friends house? Do whatever it takes to get a picture of a pet. It is not that difficult.

I think getting a dog for your little brother can be a real life lesson and learning experience- sharing their home with an animal helps kids develop a great understanding about these creatures with whom we share our world- it teaches them, tolerance, respect and yeah- the unconditional love and exorbitant amount of kisses they’ll get is the icing on the cake!
