Is Entrepreneurship Worth It For Millennials?

You see friends constantly sharing memes about following your dreams and being the boss. Entrepreneurship appears to be trendy these days, but should you really be working for yourself? I've been on both ends of the spectrum. I've worked crappy jobs to pay for college, did every traditional teenager job, and have tried my hand at various forms of entrepreneurship (from blogging to real estate). Is it worth working for yourself? Should you start your own business when you're young? … [Read more...]

When You Should Save Money and When You Shouldn’t

When You Should Save Money and When You Shouldn’t

"I missed a shift because my phone doesn't have reception out here." I couldn't believe what my friend was telling me. This confused me. I asked her why she didn't do anything about her reception issue when she stressed about missing out on the shift. She told me that she went with a cheaper phone plan (about $40 less monthly or so) to save money but that the phone didn't offer the best service. Her phone had no reception in most areas of the city. That $40 savings had just cost her a shift where she could've made at least $150. It can be expensive to be cheap. Are You Ready to Finally Get in Shape Despite Always Being Busy? Read This

"I wish that I had the free time to just hit the gym and do what I want to do." Friends often bring up to me how they wish that they had free time to get in the gym and get jacked. There's a guy who I run into every few months who keeps on telling me how he plans on returning to the gym. He has a laundry list of excuses and I simply don't have the energy to try to convince him that busy people can get in shape too. It's far too easy to neglect your health when life gets busy. I want to show you how you can get in shape even if you're busy because life's better when you're jacked and feeling good about yourself. … [Read more...]

How Do You Chase Your Passions When You Have No Time or Money?

"Follow your passions." You can't open up your social media feed without seeing some post about chasing your passions and following your dreams. I'm all for it. I have a podcast where we interview successful hustlers. However, this stuff gets annoying. It's kind of difficult to follow your passions when you have no money for the basics (like rent or food) and no time to do anything. Let's look at how you can follow passions when you're broke but still want to grow a side business... … [Read more...]

The Article About Starting an Online Business That I Wish Someone Wrote Ten Years Ago

"You need to brand yourself. You should be authentic. Be yourself. Focus on your passions and the money will come." WHAT?! Most online business advice is useless. You read that and then you have no idea where to go next with this. You feel even more lost because you don't know what branding means or how being authentic will bring in any money. What are you supposed to do with that kind of advice? I wanted to write a practical guide to making money online. This is the kind of online business article that I needed in 2008 when I spent the entire year reading useless articles and wasting time. … [Read more...]
